Press and citation
Scopes is a public record. Every figure is a computed number with a permalink and a methodology version, so it can be cited precisely and checked later. This page has the citation format, the boilerplate, the wordmark, and a press contact.
How to cite
Cite the page you used, with the date you accessed it. Where a figure carries a methodology version, include it, so the exact calculation is reproducible.
Format
Scopes. “Page title.” scopes.com/path. Accessed D Month YYYY.
Examples
Scopes. “The scorecard.” scopes.com/scorecard. Accessed 27 September 2026.
Scopes. “Do divergences converge?” scopes.com/studies. Accessed 27 September 2026.
The record is append-only: figures are never overwritten, and corrections are added as new, dated entries. A permalink you cite today resolves to the same number later.
A citation can carry its own proof. Every day of the record is fingerprinted and anchored to the Bitcoin blockchain; the daily roots and their timestamps are published at scopes.com/integrity. For a single figure, the per-record proof endpoint /api/integrity/proof?date=&table=&id= returns an inclusion proof against that day's anchored root, so a reader can confirm the number existed on the date you cite without trusting Scopes.
Boilerplate
Wordmark
The Scopes reticle. Please keep the proportions and the ember focus-brackets, and do not recolor the mark.
Conflicts
Scopes takes no positions in any market it measures and does not trade, advise, or recommend. Methodologies are specified in advance and versioned; corrections are appended, never overwritten. The fuller policy is on the institutions page.
